Previous Notes

• We chose the Arcane study, Armory, Barracks, Herb Garden, Library, and Smithy for our Bastion.

• Our Bastion is being built around an old abandoned building. There is a cellar that leads to caves.

• Builders reported an invisible monster and wont do work until its gone.

• There was stairs that went down to a basement. There was a shadow demon that had :

  • Old style gp + sp.
  • 6 skulls of various races. (Hobgoblin, orc, gnome, dwarf, gnoll)

• Basement is size of house foundation.

• We each had our own moments alone:

  • Katar wandered off by himself and encountered 2 grimlocks. He found an adventures journal that had a map to Ret Mountain Kobold Tribe.
  • Kahdean encountered a ghoul. Received a scroll to locate a herb legendariun.
  • Gaulex and his bat familiar (Barbosa) fought 2 skeletons. He found on them a book of lost treasures and where to find them.
    • Blackspire(Slythee) Bandersnatch Fen.
    • Palace Lost Palace (Princeton?)
    • Tower Red Fang (Brillig)

• Sky Mountain = Southern Mountain outside Carol. Formerly empire of Lutredge.

• Evenday = Turning Day (an equinox). After 30 days of walnut but before day of Bridget. Full moon every 22 days but doesn't stay in the sky long.

• Lycoris will bloom until first frost around first week of snowing.

• Daryu is old word for the land of the dead.

• Hirelings for cart:

  • Bartholomew Trent(old) - Father.
  • Ezekiel Trent - Son.

• They are proficient in animal handling and land vehicles.

• Bart did a stint in the military for a few years.

• Proficient in lt crossbow, staff, handaxe, and leather armor.

• On the Journey:

  • Btwn Bard college and Finchton.
  • Encountered 6 ghouls/ghasts.
  • Fought 2 animated armors.

• Entered Tweedle.

  • Area known for magic.
  • Something was in the air.

• We came across an orchard and Gaulex wanted to pick fruit but decided not to since it was after the harvest and its private property.

• Town of DeeDum:

  • Has a problem. Dark Knight, blue gnomes at old ruins. They abducted the tailors daughter and demanded a dowery of 10k GP in 12 days. If not, "We will be forced to avenge her honor by ritual sacrifice."
  • Dark knight is dark skin and white hair. Blue gnomes were bald and small nose. Dowenges haven't been a thing in 100 yrs.
  • The old ruins had a dry moat,drawbridge, highwall, really notallthat ruined. They had been there for a year and took the Tailor's daughter 18 days ago. We discovered that the Blue gnomes were Xvarts.

September 19, 2025 Notes

• We rescued the tailors daughter. Knight & Xvarts attacked at night. Most of the Xvarts died or ran off. One of the villagers died. Dark Knight in full plate. Villagers kept it and the armor shield because the villager died for payment to their family. We got the two scimitars, Guy appeared to be a drow(never seen one before) and kept a braided lock of his white hair.
• Next day, we went to the mansion. In the Kitchen, we encountered 4 spectres.

September 25, 2025 Notes

Did Bottom floor. Found necklace that provided sanctuary.

October 2,2025 Notes

• Finished last few rooms. Found tunnel in well. We went down it and came to a stream. We had water breathing casted to swim down and Kahdean would turn into a snapping turtle to swim back.
• There were skeleton that almost txook us out.
• We came across an Ettin.
• At night, we encountered 2 druid elves, 2 blink dogs, & a satyr. They told Kahdean they say her flower in the direction we were going. It was on a large mound with no trees and the herb was growing in a line up on the mound.
• Ran into a redcap. We killed it. Found the mound and rested for the night.
• Next day, we encountered a sleiphner named Vaetter. Told us one was in the barrow and will attack u if we pick the flowers but it needs to die anyways.
  • Vaetter similar to wight.
  • Can cast some spells.
  • Provoked by items being taken it considers its own and will be insulted.
  • 2 types: Black-stuff. White - their honor.
• We fought the Vaetter and got an antique great axe. Kahdean left two flowers and harvested the rest. Kahdean then recommended we excavated the barrow in 2 days since its the big holiday. We then went to the nearest city.

October 30, 2025 Notes

• Kahdean changed to a dire wolf to dig the mound. Encoutered Bulette and defeated it.
• Reginald the dark & Roland the fair mound
  • Dug up 2 coffins - Not a barrow, just a grave.
  • Copper tube popped open to say they weren't dead.
  • Need to separate their body parts,burn individually but in metal individual tube bury each piece 13 feet down and 16 yards apart or drop in ocean at least 1 mile from shore and 169 deep.
  • The first we fought was Roland because he was white. We opened Reginald's coffin and a black spectre rose. It is a stronger version of a Wight.
  • We received:
    • a gold chain with a ruby pendant.
    • Dagger with Onyx Pommel.
    • 2 nice bronze helms.
    • Platinum chain with sapphire pendant.
    • Longsword & great axe.
    • Dagger with yellow diamond pommel.
  • Weapons were stored under Weapons and the helms were stored under Armor
• Lutwedge:
  • a walled village. They insist on a SP & a lock of hair. They would not accept a lock of squirrel hair. We used their crematorium to do the bodies as described above.
• First day of Harvest Festival:
  • Morning Gaia Worship - Party.
  • Evening - Marran Worship.
  • Merzine Prime - Local hero, rumored to be coming to town. Didn't show.
• Day 3 & 4:
  • Dedicated to the carolean deities.
• Buried 4 of the body parts. Fought a redcap.
• Went into a 2 story abandoned house. Fought beetles and found a cloak of Camoflauge. Attune for advantage to hide rolls. We put it into the portable hole. We received armor from animated armor(fullplate), beltpouch(Good shape), and 4 potions of healing.
• We buried 6 of the urns. 6 are left.
• Merzine prime joined us for the haunted house.We fought 2 iron cobras and a rug. Found a silver tarnished punch bown with 6 cups.
• Dining room had animated armor.
